Liverpool Acoustic returns to Sound Food and Drink for We Shall Overcome 2016.
Started in 2015, We Shall Overcome is a UK grass roots music community response to the cuts to public services, and the hardship caused by them.
From 1pm to 5pm there will be a selection of talented musicians performing 25 minute sets, with the finale brought to you by the Liverpool Acoustic Rhythm Kings (Stuart Todd, Derek King, Pete King, and guests!).
Entry to Sound is free, although we’ll be asking for donations (suggested minimum of £3) which will be given to the South Liverpool Foodbank. Please note, we will not be accepting any food donations. There will be volunteers present who’ll be able to answer any questions you have about the valuable work the foodbanks in Liverpool do.
