The Liverpool Acoustic Afternoon returns to the View Two Gallery this Saturday
Saturday 9th April 2016 sees the Liverpool Acoustic Afternoon return to the View Two Gallery on Mathew Street for the first time this year.
This popular event taking place in the heart of Liverpool’s historic Cavern Quarter is ideal for those wishing to escape Liverpool ONE crowds or wall-to-wall coverage of the Grand National.
From 1.00pm to 4.00pm Liverpool Acoustic will play host to an afternoon of laid-back acoustic music in the View Two Gallery’s intimate and welcoming top floor performance space. Musicians are invited to take part in the open micwith a couple of songs each. In addition, there will be special guest performances from Manchester’s Richard Lomax and local singer-songwriter Maddie Stenberg.
The bar will be open serving tea, coffee, soft drinks and (of course!) alcohol, so why not come along, bring the family, and make an afternoon of it?
The gallery is open from 12.00pm to 5.00pm and is free entry.

Liverpool Acoustic is the only website of its kind in the UK. It was founded by Graham Holland in April 2008 as a central resource for the vibrant and exciting acoustic music scene in Liverpool and the Greater Merseyside area. The website publishes news from the local acoustic music scene, previews of upcoming events, reviews of music releases and gigs, and the Liverpool Acoustic Spotlight podcast. This content is available for free via email subscription. The diary lists acoustic events including festivals, theatre concerts, folk clubs, showcases and open mic nights.
