Don’t you just love this time of year? The shorter days, the cooler weather, the first adverts for Christmas, and the call for submissions for next year’s Threshold Festival of Music and Art.
Every year musicians approach us in the first three months of the year asking to play at Threshold, and every year we have to tell them they’re too late because they’ve missed the deadline.
If you’re a musician of any genre, in a band, duo, or solo, and you’d like to play at Threshold 2016 from 1st to 3rd April 2016 then there are two ways of applying – via partners Reverbnation or via the JotForm.
The deadline for applications is midnight on 15th December 2015.
Did you get that? THE DEADLINE IS 15TH DECEMBER 2015!
There you go, you can’t say we didn’t tell you in time!
As is traditional, Liverpool Acoustic will be hosting a Liverpool Acoustic Afternoon at The Baltic Social on the Saturday of the festival (2nd April 2016). As is also traditional, we will be picking our lineup exclusively from the list of those who’ve applied to take part via the official application process.
So what are you waiting for? Apply now!
There are just five £7 bonus advance tickets left for the weekend. To claim one (or more!) of them click the link below.
Submissions For Threshold 2016 Now Open
Liverpool Acoustic is the only website of its kind in the UK. It was founded by Graham Holland in April 2008 as a central resource for the vibrant and exciting acoustic music scene in Liverpool and the Greater Merseyside area. The website publishes news from the local acoustic music scene, previews of upcoming events, reviews of music releases and gigs, and the Liverpool Acoustic Spotlight podcast. This content is available for free via email subscription. The diary lists acoustic events including festivals, theatre concerts, folk clubs, showcases and open mic nights.
