Liverpool Acoustic Afternoon returns to View Two Gallery this Saturday
Liverpool Acoustic Afternoon returns to Mathew Street’s View Two Gallery for the first time this year on Saturday 11th April 2015.
The gallery will be open from 12.00pm to 5.00pm, with the music running from 1.00pm to 4.00pm.
The free afternoon event features the famous Liverpool Acoustic Open Mic alongside two booked guests, Simon Mckelvie and Terry Gray. To sign up to the Open Mic leave a message on the Facebook event page here.
Liverpool Acoustic’s co-organiser Graham Holland said, “The Liverpool Acoustic Afternoon is the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon, relaxing to the sound of acoustic music while surrounded by inspirational art in Liverpool’s top independent gallery.”
It all takes place in the third floor performance space where the bar will be open selling tea, coffee or something a bit stronger for those who prefer.
Liverpool Acoustic is the only website of its kind in the UK. It was founded by Graham Holland in April 2008 as a central resource for the vibrant and exciting acoustic music scene in Liverpool and the Greater Merseyside area. The website publishes news from the local acoustic music scene, previews of upcoming events, reviews of music releases and gigs, and the Liverpool Acoustic Spotlight podcast. This content is available for free via email subscription. The diary lists acoustic events including festivals, theatre concerts, folk clubs, showcases and open mic nights.
