 ARTIST INFORMATION

ONLY CHILD
onlychildmusicuk.wordpress.com

Only Child make emotional music and released their first album, ‘From Muddy Water To Higher Ground’, in April 2014, on Crosstown Records. It’s the follow up to 2012’s critically acclaimed debut EP, which was a collaboration between Alan O’Hare (ex-The Trestles) and Laura McKinlay (Bill Ryder-Jones), alongside a loose collective of Merseyside’s most intuitive musicians.

Only Child have headlined the likes of Leaf on Bold Street, Mathew Street’s View Two Gallery and The Zanzibar Club in Liverpool and have also recently supported the likes of Miles Hunt (The Wonder Stuff); Steve Pilgrim (Paul Weller); Pete Wylie (The Mighty Wah!); Michael Weston King (My Darling Clementine); Ian Prowse (Amsterdam/Pele) and Gemma Hayes.

Praise for the new album: “This album delivers on all fronts – it’s punchy and thought provoking at the same time as being gentle and touching…” Liverpool Acoustic … “9/10” Liverpool Sound and Vision

ELIJAH JAMES
www.elijahjamesmusic.co.uk

Elijah James was born in Liverpool, and has been playing music around the city for the last four years, once as part of a post punk band, and as of right now an acoustic singer/songwriter.

James has played numerous venues across Liverpool, including winning the Acoustic Hunger Games event held at The Zanzibar. This granted the opportunity to record at Parr Street Studios, which in turn led to the completion of his debut album ‘Nobody Important’, which was released 29/09/14. The release was supported by a sold-out album launch event hosted at The Bridewell.

Nobody Important is available to buy from elijahjamesmusic.bandcamp.com

KATIE MCLOUGHLIN
facebook.com/katiemcloughlinmusic

Katie McLoughlin is an acoustic singer-songwriter from Liverpool. With the composing of personal, heart felt songs, she shares stories of her life experiences to date. Past events which she has played around the city have led to positive reviews labelling her as ‘charmingly innocuous’ with a style directing her to ‘croon like a fallen dreamer’. Katie plans to continue her musical journey in the hope that others will find comfort in her style just as she does.
