 ARTIST INFORMATION

JAMES M CARSON
facebook.com/jamesmcarsonmusic
Bolton/Manchester based James M Carson has been carefully crafting his music; showcasing a unique guitar and vocal style to a growing audience over the past four years. Carson’s music draws heavily from folk, rock, alt-country and grunge influences, primarily Elliot Smith, Neil Young, Jeff Buckley, George Harrison, and Roy Harper.

James M Carson’s impressive live shows have seen him open for Nick Harper, Mark Morriss, Evening Hymns, The Wooden Sky, and anti-folk hero Lach.

James M Carson’s long-awaited debut EP Sold As Scene is awash with echoes of 1970s Laurel Canyon. In this folk-rock setting Carson’s songs are filled with stories of dead-end towns, vagrants and personal tales of escapism.
