Last year we held two Liverpool Acoustic Afternoons on Saturdays in June and September at the View Two Gallery. They were so popular (and we enjoyed running them so much!) that we’ve decided to throw in an extra one to welcome in the Spring.
The Liverpool Acoustic Afternoon is taking place on Saturday 13th April 2013 at the View Two Gallery on Mathew Street. The gallery will be open from 12.00pm to 5.00pm with the music running from 1.00pm to 4.00pm.
We’ve got three booked acts starting each hour with a 20 minute set each. The rest of the time is taken up with 10 minute open mic slots allocated on a first come, first served basis.
1.00pm – Lily and Meg – Special guests from Falmouth, Cornwall
UPDATE 8th April – Jessica West is no longer able to make it, and has been replaced by SheBeat.
2.00pm – SheBeat
3.00pm – Luke Cusato
The bar will be open throughout the afternoon selling tea, coffee and alcoholic beverages.
This event is open to all ages and is free to attend.
Liverpool Acoustic Afternoon – Saturday 13th April 2013
Liverpool Acoustic is the only website of its kind in the UK. It was founded by Graham Holland in April 2008 as a central resource for the vibrant and exciting acoustic music scene in Liverpool and the Greater Merseyside area. The website publishes news from the local acoustic music scene, previews of upcoming events, reviews of music releases and gigs, and the Liverpool Acoustic Spotlight podcast. This content is available for free via email subscription. The diary lists acoustic events including festivals, theatre concerts, folk clubs, showcases and open mic nights.
