Threshold Festival, the grassroots multi-arts event held in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle, returns this weekend.
Now in its third year, Threshold focuses on emerging artists, new work, collaboration, DIY, avant garde, and community-based projects encompassing music, theatre, comedy, film, performance, and visual arts.
Threshold 2013 promises to be bigger, brassier, bandier and very Baltic! There are more venus, bands, artists, supporters, singers, workshops, wristbands, and panels than ever before.
This year we’ve teamed up with North West Cancer Research for the first time as our official charity partner.
Threshold takes place from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th March 2013.
The venues are right across the Baltic Triangle, plus the Threshold Fringe is taking place at the Albert Dock, and Lomax on Cumberland Street is taking part too.
Day tickets are £10 and weekend tickets £20 in advance from thresholdfestival.co.uk/tickets and on the day from Baltic Creative (41 Jamaica Street).
We’d love you to get involved too.

Liverpool Acoustic is the only website of its kind in the UK. It was founded by Graham Holland in April 2008 as a central resource for the vibrant and exciting acoustic music scene in Liverpool and the Greater Merseyside area. The website publishes news from the local acoustic music scene, previews of upcoming events, reviews of music releases and gigs, and the Liverpool Acoustic Spotlight podcast. This content is available for free via email subscription. The diary lists acoustic events including festivals, theatre concerts, folk clubs, showcases and open mic nights.
