Thom Morecroft is launching his new album Moon Moon Shake It at the View Two Gallery this Saturday 1st December 2012 and has gathered together some of Liverpool’s finest singer-songwriters to help him.
Joining Thom on the night will be Silent Cities, Dominic Dunn, and Liverpool Music Award-nominated Robert Vincent. Special guest host is Laurence Glover.
Doors open at 8.00pm with the music going on to just after 11.30pm.
Entrance is £3 on the door, which generously includes a copy of the new album.
But hold your horses, because that’s not all. Here at Liverpool Acoustic we love combining art and music (you only need to see the Liverpool Acoustic Songwriting Challenge to know that) and Thom’s album launch is making full use of the facilities at the fantastic, independent View Two Gallery. The venue will be open from 6.30pm for a private viewing of Un-fold, an exhibition featuring a unique collection of processes and media from artists working around the UK, including Ashlea Rowson, Daniel Christopher Clifton, Debrea Lweis, Kayleigh Devlin, Rachel Dare, Amy Walker, Ruth Naylor, and Laura Sullivan.
Entry for this is free before 7.30pm, after which time you’ll need to pay the £3 fee for the album launch.
Full details for this event can be found on the separate facebook event page here.

Liverpool Acoustic is the only website of its kind in the UK. It was founded by Graham Holland in April 2008 as a central resource for the vibrant and exciting acoustic music scene in Liverpool and the Greater Merseyside area. The website publishes news from the local acoustic music scene, previews of upcoming events, reviews of music releases and gigs, and the Liverpool Acoustic Spotlight podcast. This content is available for free via email subscription. The diary lists acoustic events including festivals, theatre concerts, folk clubs, showcases and open mic nights.
