The Merseyside Guitar Show is back in town on Sunday 25th November from 10.00am to 4.00pm at Aintree Racecourse Exhibition Centre.
This is one of the UK’s biggest regional shows dedicated to guitars and features four floors with over 80 exhibitors, collectors and dealers. There are opportunities to buy, sell and trade new, second-hand and vintage guitars, plus amps and accessories.
There will be workshops and demos from Twinstomp Effects, Tayden Speakers, Wienbrock Amps, Matrix Amplification, and Systemas Workshop.
And there’s live music throughout the day featuring local acoustic singer-songwriter Ben Hughes, the sensational Gav Coulson Group (featuring Fret-King and Vintage Guitars), alternative rock and blues from dynamic new original four-piece Federal Charm, plus virtuoso country and blues guitar, banjo and mandolin with Tim Howard.
There’s free parking (or you could take Merseyrail to Aintree Station), plus a cafe and licensed bar.
Admission is only £6, and accompanied under 12s go free.

Liverpool Acoustic is the only website of its kind in the UK. It was founded by Graham Holland in April 2008 as a central resource for the vibrant and exciting acoustic music scene in Liverpool and the Greater Merseyside area. The website publishes news from the local acoustic music scene, previews of upcoming events, reviews of music releases and gigs, and the Liverpool Acoustic Spotlight podcast. This content is available for free via email subscription. The diary lists acoustic events including festivals, theatre concerts, folk clubs, showcases and open mic nights.
