Love Music Hate Riots gig tonight – update and correction

FREE Love Music Hate Riots gig TONIGHT

UPDATE AND CORRECTION

Due to an unfortunate communication error we incorrectly advertised that Alun Parry was on the bill for tonight’s gig. Alun is not playing, and we’d like to apologise to Al and his fans for the mix up. You can read his statement here, and if you want to hear him playing you catch him at the next Woody Guthrie Folk Club on Thursday 25th August.

Liverpool Acoustic presents an Anti-Riot gig in association with Love Music Hate Riots tonight, Friday 12th August. It’s a free event at the View Two Gallery on Mathew Street, and it starts at 8.00pm

This replaces the Liverpool Acoustic eXtra event which was postpond when our headline act from Italy pulled out because of the riots.

Following advice from Merseyside Police to ‘Carry On Regardless’ we’ve decided to put on a free music event to show the mindless idiots that we’re not going to let them get the better of us.
The line up so far includes Stuart Todd, Aaron Lawrence, Rachael Dunn, and Matt Swift, with more to be confirmed later.

This is FREE, so come on down and show support for the genuine people of Liverpool.

Graham (on behalf of the Liverpool Acoustic Team)
