Marc Vormawah CD launch (14th Oct) and Neil Campbell and friends (15th Oct)

Marc Vormawah and the L8 Connection launch their long-awaited new album ‘Over You’ this coming Thursday 14th October at Parr Street’s Studio 2. Tickets are £5 from the venue or by emailing marc[at]thevocalbooth.com

If you can’t make it to the launch (or want to see them twice!) they’ll also be playing on Friday 22nd October at Bad Format’s also-long-awaited Creative Circus 7.

Over You is a collaboration between former Personal Column lead singer Marc Vorawah and 16 Tambourines guitarist Mike Moran, and includes the highly rated song Most Children, and the acoustic ballads Over You and Nursery Rhymes. The album was launched on iTunes and Amazon on 1st September, and is also now available in good ole CD format.

You can find Marc online at his new-look MySpace profile myspace.com/marcvormawah

Friday 15th October sees Neil Campbell and Friends performing in the wonderful new Capstone Theatre, at Liverpool Hope’s Everton campus.

Joining Neil will be cellist Nicole Collarbone, and vocalist Perri Alleyne-Hughes. There will also be a short performance of ‘Ghost Stories’ featuring soprano Anne Taft and visual projections by Shaun Taft

If you ask us here at Liverpool Acoustic (we’ll pretend you asked us…) we’d say that Ghost Stories is worth the entrance fee in itself, and having Nicolle and Perri joining the party is an added bonus!

The gig starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £8 (£5 concessions) from the Liverpool Phil box office here or by phone 0151 709 3789
