Celine Carroll has flown into Liverpool from Dublin to play at the Liverpool Acoustic Live gig on Friday 29th October, which will be our first ever collaboration with the Liverpool Irish Festival.
To give us all a bit of a taster Celine will be appearing live on Billy Butler’s afternoon programme on BBC Radio Merseyside on Thursday 28th after 4.00pm. You can listen in the Greater Merseyside and Cheshire area on 95.8 FM, 1485 MW, DAB, and online at bbc.co.uk/liverpool
Performing on Friday alongside Celine will be LIPA graduate Ronan Boyle (Warrenpoint, Co. Down), Singer-songwriter Gary Maginnis (Islandmoyle) and Dave O’Grady (Kildare).
You can see the full details about the gig and the musicians who’ll be playing for us on the News and Reviews page here, buy tickets in advance here, and join the facebook event page here.
Liverpool Acoustic is the only website of its kind in the UK. It was founded by Graham Holland in April 2008 as a central resource for the vibrant and exciting acoustic music scene in Liverpool and the Greater Merseyside area. The website publishes news from the local acoustic music scene, previews of upcoming events, reviews of music releases and gigs, and the Liverpool Acoustic Spotlight podcast. This content is available for free via email subscription. The diary lists acoustic events including festivals, theatre concerts, folk clubs, showcases and open mic nights.
