Those of you who are fans of Kaya (and let’s face it, who isn’t?) will already know the launch of her debut album, Balloon In A Cactus Field, is taking place on Thursday 20th November, at the NOVAS Contemporary Urban Centre, starting at 8pm as part of the opening event for the Nice08 festival.
For those of you who didn’t know, you probably also didn’t know that Nice08 is the North West’s first ever festival of Nordic art and culture, and can be found at www.visitliverpool.com/nice08/home
And as for getting hold of a copy of the new album, this bulletin from Kaya herself will fill in the blanks for you.

Liverpool Acoustic is the only website of its kind in the UK. It was founded by Graham Holland in April 2008 as a central resource for the vibrant and exciting acoustic music scene in Liverpool and the Greater Merseyside area. The website publishes news from the local acoustic music scene, previews of upcoming events, reviews of music releases and gigs, and the Liverpool Acoustic Spotlight podcast. This content is available for free via email subscription. The diary lists acoustic events including festivals, theatre concerts, folk clubs, showcases and open mic nights.
